I also would like to say that Bobo has passed on. This happened on Wednesday 14th December 2016.😢
RIP
Bobo
November 2016 - December 2016

NOTE: I did not buy him from a pet shop. He was given to me as a gift. I knew nothing about him, like his age. He probably wasn't healthy. I checked online for signs of illness but he had none.
 May he rest in peace.
Oh well, we just have to get on with life. I'm over it now, but I still miss him.

But this event does not spoil the Christmas Spirit!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
As always, stay safe and keep on loving animals+wildlife!

So cute! Anyway, lets get back to the original topic. Before we start, here is an endangered bird alert, again!
Image result for birds picsThere are 10000 bird species in the world. Their scientific name is 'Aves'. They are warm blooded, and are the only animals that have feathers. They lay eggs and the bee humming bird lays the smallest. The most unusual thing I found about them are that they are the great-great grandparents of the dinosaurs! Rawr! The most common bird in the world is what we all love, in the eating sense, well. The chicken! Yes, the most common bird is the chicken and there are like, 50 BILLION of them on earth! Wow! Humming birds are the only birds that can fly backward, and ostriches can't even walk backwards!
Thank you for reading this post and hey, get the pic of the birds too ( If you do not like cats). Please comment for two reasons:
I love to read them and vote yes or no for a new blog about books!

A quick notice to Norton users!

Hello and welcome back. Today I was about to check The Furry Friends Blog, when, all of a sudden, Norton said my blog was having threats. I checked a report and there was an annoyance factor. I was shocked. I checked more and I think Norton thinks that Blogspot is BAD. I am sorry if this disturbs you. There is just a little button at the bottom of the page where they say the blog is blocked in the colour blue. It says 'View this website anyway'. Press that and I promise you nothing will happen. This does not happen if you do not use Norton (I think). This is the link to the report:

https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http%3A%2F%2Fthefurryfriendsclub.blogspot.com%2F

I hope it works. Thank you for all your views and hopefully you guys will get your picture present next time! Currently on 292 views! Until next time, stay safe and love animals+wildlife!

P.S: Post on birds next time! SQUACK!

My Trip To Naran! :-)

My Trip To Naran
SPECIAL!!!

Hello and welcome to The Furry Friends Blog! Today I will be talking about my trip to Naran, in Pakistan. It is an AMAZING place to see. It all started on the 6th August 2016, at 10:00 pm in Lahore.

My neighbors invited me to go with them a few days later. I accepted and decided to go to this beautiful area. Plus, I had my friend, Zainab (SEE POLLUTION POST COMMENT), who is my neighbor as well. So we all went to Naran. We arrived there at about 11:00 am or 12:00pm. I forgot to take a picture of our coaster, so here is one from the internet:
A Toyota Hiace!
Then we arrived and went to The Royal Hotel, Naran. It was a 4 star hotel (and I would definitely rate it 4 stars as well!) It was a very nice hotel. After arriving, I went to a restaurant called ' Zainab Shinwari ' (I think Zainab did not like the name...) and ate some chapli kebabs. They were DELICIOUS. I then went to sleep. The next day I went to Zainab Shinwari for breakfast. I enjoyed the food there. I have a picture of the guy that made the paratha, a traditional breakfast item in the Indian Subcontinent.  Then we went to Lake Saif-Ul-Malook. We hired 2 jeeps. (We were 14 people!) To get there, we had to go up a mountain. It was SO BUMPY! But we got there safe and sound. Here is a picture:
image2.jpeg
There was also a glacier there. A glacier is a massive block of ice that never really melts. People make sculptures with them, and slides! I went on one, twice! It was so much fun! I rode a horse with Zainab, and it was fun!!! We then had lunch and went to the hotel. This time we ate at the restaurant. The food was great! I had chicken corn soup. The next day, we went to Lalazar. I rode another horse, and it was also very fun. Then we went up up up! Yes to the top of the mountain, and it was so cold. Honestly, I was freezing! We then went down down down, and stopped at a lake. We stayed there for pictures and stuff, then carried on and got back to the hotel. The next day we went back home. And that was the end of my trip. I hope you enjoyed! Next time I will tell you about Life in Lahore. Until next time, stay safe and love animals + wildliife!

Endangered Animals! SPECIAL!

ENDANGERED ANIMALS

Hello and welcome back to The Furry Friends Blog! Today I will write about some of the worlds endangered animals. Oh yeah, and you are reading the very first special on The Furry Friends Blog!

So, endangered animals are everywhere in the world. They are in Asia to Europe, from Europe to Africa, even in the Arctic. One endangered cat is the Amur Leopard. They are extremely rare and are extremely cute! Here is a picture. (RIGHT)

They can live up to 10-15 years in the wild, unless they get poached. (I think.)

Now here is an animal just loved by many people. It starts with 'P'. You guessed it, a Polar Bear! They are cute and cuddly, but are endangered. Remember my post on pollution? That is how they get endangered. By global warming.

And our last animal today, the Sea Turtle! They have outlived the dinosaurs, like cockroaches, and are super cool. Equatorial Guinea is a nesting place for them. One way they are endangered is by plastic bags. They think they are jellyfish and eat them, which leads to a painful death, so mind your plastic bags!

Thank you for reading this post. Next time, I will talk about my trip to Naran, a beautiful place. Until next time, stay safe and love animals + wildlife!

My pet cat, Rollypolly! MEOW

Hello and welcome back to the Furry Friends Blog. Today I will talk about my pet cat, Rollypolly. She is a cute, orange and white cat, who is a stray. But I started giving food to her and she came to love me. So, then I called her as 'my pet'. And oh my goodness, she had around 15 KITTENS!!! Can you believe that? I know, it's weird, but true! I don't know where some of them have gone, maybe to live their lives. Here is a picture of Rollypolly with one of her now grown-up daughters, Fluffy. (Fluffy used to be fluffy but only has a fluffy tail now.... Rollypolly is the one at the back!)
Rollypolly and her daughter, Fluffy! :-)
I hope you liked this post about Rollypolly. If you have any questions, please comment them and I will answer when possible. Until next time, be safe and love animals + wildlife!

Pollution- What Is It?

Hello again and welcome to the Furry Friends Blog! As promised, I shall now talk about pollution. We all do it. No, really, we do. We burn fossil fuels, which are basically coal, oil, natural gas and gasoline. These are used to produce electricity and power our vehicles. Pollution also causes global warming. Want to know what that looks like? Take a look....
Awful, isn't it? So say.....

That's right, all those cute little polar bears going away from earth!
So don't pollute. Together we can make a clean and green world to live in. Remember...

Thank you for reading and please comment!

Puffins, dolphins and whales.

Hello again and welcome back. I know I would write about pollution now (as it says in my last post)  but there was a tiny delay so there will be a text about that next time. Sorry about the disappointment.
Now, did you know that there are four species of puffin? Or that the killer whale was actually a dolphin? They are very interesting fact and both are one of my favorites. Here are a few more facts...

1) Puffins can carry about ten fish at a time in their bills.
2) Thousands of dolphins die due to fishing nets as the get caught in them
3) The blue whale is bigger than a dinosaur!
4) Killer whales are very easy to train.
5) A puffin's bill changes its colour to grey in winter.

I hope that tells you a lot about puffins, dolphins and whales. The furry friends will stick together to help all kinds of wildlife, plants and sea life. If you wish to know more please go to:

Thank you for reading. Bye!
